No More Room in Hell
Role: Founder & Lead Designer
PC Gamer Mod of the Year
I started No More Room in Hell in high school because the zombie apocalypse game I wanted to play didn’t exist yet. I’m a huge George A. Romero fan and was deep in the Half-Life modding scene at the time, so I assembled a global team of more than 20 people and set to work building my vision as a mod for Half-Life 2. For nearly a decade, I led the team in designing a full game experience, including the systems, rules and art direction. After college, real life left me with less time, so I handed the reins to the team to carry on the project. It went on to win PC Gamer’s Mod of the Year and launched as a free standalone game on Steam, where it has a Very Positive rating across more than 75,000 reviews. It recently got a sequel from Torn Banner Studios.
