Here for the Nastro Azzurro

Role: Executive Producer

Timed to launch with the Milan Cortina Winter Games, Here for the Nastro Azzurro was our first campaign for Peroni. We shot entirely on a stage in Sofia, Bulgaria, with director Tom Emmerson and built a full-size, functional ski jump and après-ski bar. Digital matte paintings and set extensions transformed the stage into a full alpine world, and we topped it off with a catchy Italo disco–inspired track. (My personal contribution: flying to Bulgaria with a suitcase full of empty bottles, labels and caps so we’d have U.S.-branded product on set.) The project turned into an ongoing partnership with the brand, which works out nicely since Peroni happens to be my favorite beer.
