Reddit’s first-ever U.S. brand campaign is built on something every Redditor already knows: people are the best. These spots show a handful of the funny, obsessive and weirdly expert communities that make Reddit, Reddit. We shot for three days in Mexico City with director Fiona McGee and cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema. The performances were captured as plates with a motion control rig, then assembled in VFX so every scene plays as a single shot. We launched with a soccer-themed spot just in time for the World Cup in North America.
