Tubi
That Should Be a Tubi Movie
Role: Senior Producer
Every so-bad-it’s-good idea on the internet gets the same reaction: “That should be a Tubi movie.” For Tubi’s first Super Bowl live stream, we took that literally. We teamed up with three of the Big Game’s buzziest advertisers (poppi, NERDS and e.l.f.) to continue their in-game spots as B-movie trailers only Tubi would stream. Pulling it off meant wrangling three outside brands, their agencies, and each spot’s original directors, production companies, actors and influencers. There were a lot of moving parts (and a lot of emails), but it all came together in time for kickoff. Tubi even promised to make the movies for real if fans showed enough love.
